Description

As I walk home I pass a building site where a huge shiny office building has been built over the last six months. I captured a nice series of this boy waiting for his mum who was working on the site filling a water feature (which this boy is lying in). My first shots in raw converted in CS2, some minor cropping. I brought up the contrast in the reflection using levels and sharpened his features slightly using unsharp mask. I also used gaussian blur to blur the hose pipe in the back of the frame 1.8 pixels.

You know...this photo caught my attention as I ran through new entries today...love the look on the boys face, his reflection and the details that make up the rest of the photo. Nice catch. S #392676
